China Galaxy International (CGI) is a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary and the only international business holding platform of China Galaxy Securities (CGS), providing comprehensive financial services outside Mainland China, including securities and futures brokerage, investment banking, margin financing, research and analysis, asset management and wealth management. In 2018, we completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in the securities business of CIMB Bank, the second largest bank in Malaysia, to form a joint venture platform, CGS-CIMB, with a direct global presence in over 20 countries and territories. With an immense and stable client base and client assets, we provide a wide range of securities services to countries along the route of the “Belt and Road” in ASEAN and maintain a leading position in ASEAN core markets. We have implemented the concept of green development and actively promoted the development of green finance.
