Launched in South Africa in 1991, we are one of the few investment management firms to have developed a substantial global footprint from emerging market origins. It was initially founded as Investec Asset Management, an independent entity within Investec.

Ninety One is a founder-led global investment manager with £139 billion of assets under management (“AUM”), as at 30 June 2021. The firm is dual-listed on the London and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges.
